Underdog: Against All Odds, the Fight for Justice
Featuring Thomas Jacobson
Holocaust Survivor
July 10, 2026
Born in 1938 in Bamberg, Germany, Holocaust survivor Thomas Jacobson was one of the youngest passengers on the MS St. Louis. He escaped Nazi Germany, fled to Holland and eventually settled in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. That experience of being turned away from safety stayed with him. It fueled a lifelong commitment to justice. Thomas became a prominent defense attorney, represented Milwaukee’s civil rights leaders and dedicated his life to protecting others.
Thomas Jacobson is a living witness to one of history’s most defining moments, a survivor, an advocate, and a testament to the power of resilience. Join us as he shares his life experience. This is a conversation you will not want to miss.
