Who We Are
AZJHS is the only organization solely dedicated to preserving the rich heritage of Arizona’s Jewish communities. From educating the public about Jewish contributions to Arizona and American life, to promoting Holocaust education, our mission is rooted in memory and meaning.
Our home—Phoenix’s original synagogue—is now the Cutler ✡ Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center, a place where history lives and stories are shared.

Through engaging programs and exhibitions, we invite people of all backgrounds to learn about Jewish history, culture, and values. We go beyond tolerance—fostering friendship, respect, and a shared understanding of the diverse cultures that shape our state.
