JewishPhoenix Microsite Posting Volunteer - Job Description

The Arizona Jewish Historical Society seeks dedicated volunteers to post to JewishPhoenix Microsite in our office. Office hours are Mon--Fri 10:00AM-4:00PM. Hours are flexible to be scheduled in advance subject to volunteer availability and JewishPhoenix Facebook and Instagram calendars.

Basic familiarity with computers and office software preferred. The deliverables to be created by our project manager and graphic designer will be the Microsite updates, newsletters, community flyers, using assembled content gathered by volunteer.

Training/Background Needed: Office volunteers will work under the supervision and direction of our Associate Director/Project Manager and Office Administrator and/or other appropriate staff.

Time Commitment: This position offers a flexible time commitment. Only absolute requirement is that time committed is time fulfilled—show up when you say you will.

Greeter volunteers will work under the supervision and direction of our Curatorial Project Manager and/or other proper staff.

Job Description includes but is not limited to the following:

  • Interacting with Associate Director/Project Manager, Office Administrator, Department Managers, and Graphic Designer

  • Assist with preparation of graphics assembled from Department Managers

  • Preparation of narrative and graphic materials

  • Data entry

  • Filing and office organization

  • Monitoring and ordering of office supplies

  • Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed by Office Administrator and other staff
