A Memorable Venue for Any Event
Originally built in 1921 as a sanctuary, religious school and social hall, the Cutler✡Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center retains all of its historic charm creating a warm and inviting space. With original hard wood floors, high vaulted ceiling, beautifully manicured gardens and ample parking, the center us an ideal year-round location for your event. We have 4 different sized rooms, a kitchen along with outdoor capabilities. (See below for descriptions.) Our venue can be used for all types of functions including weddings, corporate receptions, fundraisers, meetings, social events, B'nai Mitzvahs, and more. All set-ups are customized to meet the needs of your group. We welcome people of all faiths! Weddings, B'nai Mitzvahs, Meetings and More!
The Sanctuary
Our stunning main hall, with original hardwood flooring, seats up to 230 people sat theater style or 150 people sat at table rounds and chairs. The historic room is great for a ceremony and reception and its adjustable house lighting, large stage and full range of audio visual and internet capabilities make it extremely desirable.
The Garden
Great for a ceremony and reception, the garden is available year-round. Our beautifully manicured garden will seat up to 220 people for any outdoor event. With lighting and electrical capabilities, the garden is a one of a kind space in Downtown Phoenix.
The Gallery
Our gallery is both educational and practical, displaying artwork and artifacts from early 1900 on wards. The gallery makes a great location for a cocktail party or private exhibition.
Kitchen
Our kitchen is located in the administration building, behind the Sanctuary. The kitchen is equipped with an ice machine, refrigerator and sinks with plenty of space for caterers to prepare their food. It is mandatory that your caterer is familiar with our space before they begin working.
