Online Exhibit: Mid-Century Jewish Life in Phoenix
Mid-Century Jewish Life in Phoenix provides visitors with a brief look at Jewish life in the Valley from 1945-1975. It is based primarily on photographs and other materials housed in Pearl and Cecil Newmark Memorial Archives of the Arizona Jewish Historical Society, as well items made available by community members.
Online Exhibit: We Remember: The Righteous
We Remember: the Righteous explores these questions and more by focusing on the stories of Righteous Gentiles who rescued Jews and other victims of Nazi persecution during World War II. It also explores local connections to these events by including the stories of survivors who were rescued by these brave individuals and who rebuilt their lives right here in Phoenix, Arizona.
