Renowned genealogist Emily Garber will explore aspects of immigration, from ports of embarkation to ocean voyages and arrival in a new land. While some records are lost, many treasures remain offering clues that help us piece together the stories of those who came before us.
Emily H. Garber is an accomplished genealogy researcher, writer and speaker. An anthropological archaeologist by training (B.A. and M.A), Emily serves as chair of the Phoenix Jewish Genealogy Group, a member of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Jewish Historical Society, and Secretary of the IAJGS.
