Hannah Sperber’s life traces an extraordinary path from a turbulent childhood in a Christian family in Nazi Germany to renewal through love and faith. She survived wartime trauma, including the bombing of her home in Nuremberg and living with distant relatives. She attended high school and college and later met her husband, a Holocaust survivor and US Army soldier, during a chance encounter on a train platform. They went on to build a life together, with Hannah finding security and purpose through Judaism, family and community.
