Students and Education

A key focus of our new center will be to provide free educational programs for students throughout Arizona. These opportunities will include field trips to the museum, guided tours with experienced docents, lectures and classes on site as well as curricula and other resources for teachers.

Through the creation of a digital resource library and on-line exhibitions, we will make it easier to interact, educate and communicate with students, teachers and other audiences throughout Arizona and on a national level. This free, on-line tool will use archives, first-hand video testimony, memoirs and art as an interpretive tool to teach about the Holocaust, WWII and the experiences of Survivors, Righteous Gentiles and Liberators. Through first-hand testimony users will learn by making an emotional connection to a person and his/her experiences and be able to draw comparisons with real-world situations that are prevalent and are impacting our world today.
