Born in Vienna in 1930, Holocaust survivor Gertrude Federbusch was nine when Nazi persecution shattered her world. After enduring the fear of Nuremberg laws, Kristallnacht, and a dangerous journey from Austria, she and her parents reached America and slowly rebuilt their lives. As an immigrant, Gertrude learned English, found community, and created a future. Today she shares her testimony to preserve lasting memory and inspire future generations.
