The Youngest Survivor’s Legacy

Samuel R. Harris was born in Deblin, Poland and is one of the youngest survivors of the concentration camps during the Holocaust. Sam lost most of his family throughout the Holocaust, especially after the liquidation of the ghetto in 1942. Sam became a slave laborer in a camp just outside Deblin. He later became a hidden child in various places leading up to liberation.
